Non-Spanish Speaking & seeking to move to D.F. (Mexico City)

I'm seeking to relocate to Mexico City and hope to find employment there. One small catch: I don't speak Spanish! My husband is Mexican and currently lives in the state of Mexico. I've been working for a large, fashion retailer in Seattle, WA and have experience with merchandising/buying and have most recently served as an Instructional Designer creating education materials for the past 4 years. I have a great business sense and project management skills. Based on some of the job opportunities, I know I would be a great candidate. BUT is it realistic considering I don't speak Spanish? Would it be advised to live in the city for a year to immerse myself in the language before I even start my job hunt? Or can I make it without Spanish? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
