Role Summary/Purpose
The Global Customer Fulfillment Specialist will be supporting the LAPS region for GE Parts fulfillment. In this role you are
responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and
have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Responsible for fulfillment execution, coordination and communication of all OTR (Order to Remittance) activities relating to
part orders
• Act as primary point of contact for customers, GE personnel for ITO / OTR issues relating to order management
• Work quickly, accurately, and effectively to resolve customer issues and affect long term solutions as required
• Provide support for sales execution and order conversion
• Enhance customer relationships and fidelity
• Communicate the appropriate internal functions of all processes that need to be implemented or improved to give better
customer service
• Maintain, enhance, and drive improvement of the customer service metrics
• Provide support to internal and external cross-functional teams and customers in support of GEEPI initiatives (LEAN, Customer
Issue Tracking)
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in
a customer service position)
• At least 3 additional years of experience in a customer service role
• Strong attention to detail and complete resolution
• Prior experience in a global customer service position is preferred
• Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service mindset
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP and COSDOM
• Six Sigma training is preferred
• Strong project management skills
• LEAN Principles experience is preferred
• Ability to mentor, train, and develop better process
