Self-Employed Work Visa (Mexico City)

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I'm self-employed with a contract from a Swedish company for which I work remotely, I have been here 6 months for my partner's job. It seems I cannot get a work-visa without a Mexican employer (I have spoken with immigration, embassies, etc.), however I would like to register myself here as a sole-trader or with my own company to contract with Mexican companies and pay my taxes here also - I cannot do this without a work visa.
I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences and if there was a possible route via umbrella contracting groups or with a good immigration lawyer.
Any advice would be appreciated as Im about to abandon the work-visa route altogether,
Steve
