credit history (Miami)

Hi, now we are in Miami.We wanted to lease a car and also getting organized our cell phones.But without a credit history you don't get anything here in this country.
How should i have this as a foreigner.?It is really unbelievable that i have to make debts without wanting this.This system is so sick i have no words for it.No wonder that this economy is suffering. How can you want that your citizens are living always on credit, otherwise you even don't get a mobile.No wonder,that the people are loosing there houses etc, because they always had to live on credit. For me it is also discrimination that i have to pay 18% interest instead of 0,9 % .
Does somebody had the same experiences?
I am so mad about this sick system.
