health and car insurance (Miami)

I've been searching the internet to get a quote for car and health insurance. There's a lot out of there and bit lost trying the understand the system compared to Europe (for health insur). Also since we are first time buyers and have not a real credit ratng yet the quotes for car insurance are much higher!

Can anyone recommend a broker that can help out or company that knows how to deal with expats since the system does not seem to take outside of US background into account leading to higher fees.
