Moving to Miami

Hello everyone! I was just notified that I will be posted to Miami from Ottawa in the next 3 months or so. I will be working in Doral at Southcom. I am curious if anyone would have any suggestions for places to live, based on the fact that - I don't own a car and am not comfortable driving, am single, have no problem with public transportation, but would not like have a commute to work that is over 30 mins. I am probably limiting myself immensely with the commute time limit, but thought I would throw that out there and see if that is even possible. :)
