Option to move to Miami

Hi to everyone, my wife and I have the option to relocate to Miami. I was wondering what the pros of living in Miami and the negatives. We have a 3yr old daughter, what would be the better schools public or private. What annoys you or what you love. Looking for a family perspective not a south beach party goer.
