Relocating to Miami, recommendations needed

Hi,
We are relocating from Colombia to Miami in September. We have two children, 4 month and 20 month.

We are looking for a nice and child friendly area. My husbands work is located near the airport and ideally my husband would like not to spend hours in traffic each day- which area should we choose?
We prefer a newer house (house not condo), preferably in a gated community with amenities.

We are also looking for good day-care facilities and would be very grateful for recommendations.
