What neighborhood to live in? (Miami)

Hello everybody!

My husband and I are relocating from Rio de Janeiro,Brazil to Miami and we are wondering about where to live since he will need to commute to Boca Raton and I will need to be closer to Blue Lagoon. We are hoping to be in a "mid-point" place so neither of us takes on too much of the burden. Any suggestions based on distance & traffic?
