Advice to Relocate to Milan

Hello, I was searching for advice, we currently live in Ireland which is an amazing country, very quiet, good services, peaceful life... But my husband is Italian and he has been thinking about going back specifically to Milan where his company can easily relocate him.

I am Mexican and we have no kids at the moment but we would like in the future, so i was wondering how life is there, i hear and see so many things on the media, so many posts about immigrants... is it not as bad as they say or is worst?

We see the good part as good food, closer to family, easier ways to travel other tan always by plane. Specially closer to his family because mine is extremely far, so is nice to have support when you need it, in here we are just the 2 of us and the friends we have made with the years.
