Best Neighborhood for Families (Milan)

Hello all!

First, thanks for taking the time to read and assist.

We are moving to Milan in January for work, and housing will be provided, but we need to say where we want to live and the amenities we need.

My list:

1. My kids will be attending the Milano American School, so we definitely need to be on the bus route.
2. We prefer an urban setting close to restaurants, shops, and parks.
3. Access to public transportation (Subway) is a must.
4. I will be working outside of the city near Navaro so access to the highway will be essential. (I am expecting an hour commute daily)

A little vague I know, but not sure what else to search for. Also, any things we must specifically request that aren't normal to USA/UK/Germany Rentals?
