Bovisa area - is it safe? (Milan)

Hi everyone! I've read several prior threads about certain streets in the Bovisa area that can be fairly unsafe, however does anyone have direct experience with the area overall?

I will be moving to Milan from California in late August to attend the MBA program at MIP Politecnico and have accomodation booked near Via Degli Imbriani & Via Filippo Baldinucci cross streets. It's an ideal location since it's walking distance to MIP.
