Gyms (and other stuff) in Monza (Milan)

Can anyone recommend a good gym in Monza? I see there are several, but my Italian is still limited so wonder if anyone knows of any English speaking trainers or at least gym employees? For that matter, good Italian class recommendations welcome, too.

Would welcome a hiking and/or biking buddy (not expert level as I have just spent 2 years getting out of shape in Mumbai!)

What do people do for fun in Monza?? :-/
