Italian Language Question (Milan)

Hello All,

I have heard that in Germany the government is picking up the tab for German lessons for expats. If I understand correctly, it is because they now require all residents to be at a B1 level. As Italy has now added a similar language requirement, (though I don't think it is a B1), does anyone know if the state is funding any lessons at any schools in Milano?
