Not quite Milan...

Hi all, sorry if this isn't entirely applicable but I am a member of the Aberdeen internations group and as I am spending the summer in Italy (in Ovada) thought it might be a useful way to meet people, however there is no group for ovada, or alessandria for that matter. I get some afternoons and a day at the weekend off so could attend events in Milan that give me enough time to take public transport home, but just thought I'd check to see, as this- and Turin- are the closest regional groups I could find, if there was anyone like me not exactly in the area. Basically is there anyone nearby to ovada who wants to meet up or knows of any good attractions or things to do in the region? Harri :-)
