Odds of finding a job in Milano
I moved to Milan in December just last year to stay here and look for a job. I prefer to be in Europe but I can't seem to realistically assess the possibility of finding a job here. Right now I'm torn between going back to New York where I'll easily find something and staying here to look more. I do speak Italian and have English & Italian versions of my CV.
In New York I have a lot of contacts but here none other than 3 in Deloitte, KPMG & Accenture here. I'm a US citizen and obviously don't have a work permit. But I don't think these kind of firms really care about that when they want to hire someone.
I'm looking for a consulting or non-consulting role in Finance & Accounting or Corporate Strategy. Any advice, strategy or recommendation will be much appreciated.
