Penguin crowd (Milan)

I would want to open the discussion about the 10th December official event in which I've participated. Me and my friend arrived at 20:10 and queued for 30 min out to get to the ticket drink. The reason for the delay was one reception staff looking for the names of hundreds guests. The venue was really small for more than Protected content , there was too cold from beginning, so everybody was in the coat like in a tram... Then finally we were inside we can't find any food (at 20:40!), we were and we remained hungry.
We can have a plenty of fantastic food and service in a big city and some minimum standards we would expect are enough food served, cold drinks and cozy atmosphere. Did anybody find it? Its not about the subject "Italian service", the host was the big famous international organization! The worst X-Mas event ever.
