possibly moving to Milano in summer

Hi all! There is a very big chance that we will be moving to Milano from Japan. My daughter is a sophomore here in an international school which offers AP and SAT. Can anyone give me some good advice about schools in Milano? How about residential areas ? We will also be bringing our dog over. I guess in the beginning we will be staying at a serviced apartment.... do they take dogs? Recommendations please? Look forward to your replies.
