I am finishing my dissertation for my PhD in History next year, and I hope to move to Milan permanently to teach. I am coming to Milan in January Protected content study Italian and at that time I will be certified to teach english as a second language. I have four years of university teaching in the humanities. I have worked for my American university in Italy for the last three years, so I have experience in tourism too. Ideally, I want to find a teaching job, preferably history but open to other subjects as well including english. Do you have any suggestions for me, other than learning Italian, which to help me along in the process of finding a teaching job. I would also be willing to teach part time while I study in January and onward. Thanks so much.
