Shipping back to the US (Milan)

Hello,

Now that it is time to go back to the US, I've got books, clothes, and household items to ship. It is Ok if these items take a few weeks to get back. Does anyone have suggestions for companies to use? I do not feel good about using the postal service. FedEx only does express shipping and is terribly expensive.

There is an old thread on this site about shipping, but perhaps the info is outdated.
