Hello Friends,

You are invited to join the Mixed Blood's Latino Advisory Council as a complimentary guest for a special showing of Minnecanos, Mixed Blood's bilingual touring show by Joe Minjares and Thomas Benitez on Sunday, November 3rd at 3:00 pm. This is a short (less than 1 hour), family-friendly show and you are encouraged to bring additional guests including your children.

Using mementos collected over a lifetime, an old man awakens his great-grandchild’s interest in their shared Chicano history. This story is set in the Twin Cities and is based on real-life events. It is a story about culture, identity, and family.

After watching it, my friend's 6-year-old daughter born in the US to Latino parents said, "That play was about me!"
