Moving to Minneapolis

Hi,

I am thinking of moving to Minneapolis from Ireland for a year this summer.

I was wondering if I need to apply for a american driving license or will my irish one be ok for the year.

Also if anyone can recommend any good website for looking up used cars, I am hoping to get a second hand car, under $5,000.

Also again if anyone can recommend any good insurance companies for car insurance.

I am thinking of moving to Eden Praire area. Any information on the area would be gratefully be appreciated.
