Moving to Minneapolis with dog

Hello! Hope all is well :)

We are going to arrive in Minneapolis on late December with our dog. We will fly from Amsterdam and it will be a direct flight and since our dog is a labrador-mix then he will be in his carrier at cargo.

Does anyone have experience flying with dog to Minneapolis? I am just wondering how long does it take to pick up our dog at the airport. Is it far from the human's arrival place?
