Wine Tasting Event: Barolo v. Brunello – Thursday, January 15

Spend an evening comparing and evaluating wines from two great wine regions of Italy, Tuscany and Piedmont. These regions are known for their classic red wines, Barolo and Brunello and the famous grapes from which they are made; Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. Tuscany and Piedmont also produce some very affordable, interesting and complex wines that can be found at local retail stores.

Join ICC board member, Dominic Sposeto, to taste and discuss these wonderful wines and, at the end of evening, vote for your favorite. Tasty appetizers and wine-complementing morsels prepared by board member Giada Nucera of Epicurean Garden Catering will be served.

The event will be held at the beautiful Valcucine Showroom located in the International Market Square at Protected content Street, Minneapolis where ample free parking is available. The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 15th, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Cost is $50 for ICC members; $60 for non-members.
