Saturday
3:00-8:00pm
This Saturday, the American Swedish Institute will celebrate the longest night of the year with a little holiday party. During their Winter Solstice Celebration, folks will be invited to stroll through the Enchanted Forest, filled with lit Christmas trees and other sparkling décor. Folks will be able ward off any chills sitting by one of the roaring bonfires. Inside, guests will be able to take a guided tour of the museum's holiday exhibit, "Jul to the World." Meanwhile FIKA, the space's restaurant, will be serving up traditional eats and glögg, a.k.a. Swedish mulled wine, for purchase during extended hours that evening. Looking to do some last-minute shopping? The pop-up gift shop will be open as well, and offering deals on certain items.
