RUTH MOODY:
Two-time Juno Award winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ruth Moody is a founding member of the internationally renowned trio The Wailin' Jennys and former lead singer of the Canadian roots band Scruj MacDuhk (later, The Duhks). An international touring artist and Billboard-charting folk act, critics have lauded her ethereal vocals, impressive multi-instrumentalism and her talent as a songwriter, all of which can be heard on her on Red House Records releases. The Bills:
Hailed by The Glasgow Herald as “the biggest blast of fresh air to come out of Canada since The Band,” The Bills are renowned for their instrumental virtuosity, lush vocal arrangements, exuberant live performances, evocative songwriting and refreshingly innovative interpretations of traditional tunes from around the globe.
