Desperate for info (Monrovia)

Hi everybody,
I am thinking of taking up a job offer in Monrovia. I have a ton of questions, any insight would be deeply appreciated.

Is it safe .. I mean like are robberies, muggings common?
Is there clean running water ?
Is there special localities for expats?
How fast is the Internet , fast enough for Skype, YouTube etc?
I read somewhere that there are only two ATMs in the whole of monrovia. Has that improved?
Apart from mamba point, what is a good location for a single person to stay? My employer would be taking care of my stay. So which location should I insist on?
