The very best circus artists from all over the world meet in Monaco once a year during the Festivale du Cirque. Absolutely spectacular - and the entrance is FREE.
This year, the festivale offers the public a first hand experience to see artists at work and their training routines, during an „open house“ at the Espace Fontvieille. This is fun to watch, and we also can have a look at the animals in their compound surrounding the circus tent.

Come along. We meet at 14:30 hrs at the Café du Cirque in front of the Espace Fontvieille. Bus lines # 5 and # 6, bus stop Heliport / Espace Fontvieille. If you don‘t know how to get there, PM me.

Protected content 26 January Protected content of Saint Devote in the port
Saint Devote is the patron saint of Monaco and her feast day remains the most important of religious traditions in the Principality. She lifed in Corsica and was martyred in the early 4th century. Her body was placed in a boat and that boat arrived on the shores of Monaco on January 27, 312.
To commemorate the event, every year a torch-lit procession, religious ceremony and blessing takes place. At the end of the evening, a boat is burned by the Sovereign of Monaco in front of Saint Devote church in the port of Monaco, followed by a firework.
