Buying a new/used car (Montevideo)

Hi Everyone.

I didn't see a thread on the forums about cars yet so I decided to start one since I am about to undertake that process now. I just moved to UYU from NYC, and I am currently living of outside Punta Del Este with my fiance. (We definitely need a car).

Would anyone be able to offer some advice or make some good recommendations for a lawyer, mechanic, and/or dealership in the Maldonado area? Perhaps someone is looking to sell a car or knows someone who is?
