Seeking Info On Expat Life (Montevideo)

My wife and I have Uruguay on our short list of countries to which we're considering expatriating.

At present, we're focusing on Colonia, Atlantida and Piriopolis.

We'll be in Colonia from 12/8-12/10, and Montevideo from 12/ Protected content . (Montevideo will be our jumping off point for reconnoitering the other towns.)

We'd love to meet native, english-speaking expats, preferably retired, to fill us in on their lives in Uruguay for drinks, or coffee.

We're also hoping to learn about any subdivisions, or developments which cater to the expat trade.
