Pezenas or Sommieres?? (Montpellier)

Hi everyone, my family and I are planning to move to the Montpellier region next year and have narrowed our preferences to Pezenas and Sommieres. We have 2 children so are looking for somewhere a bit lively with plenty of stuff nearby for them to do. We are hoping to run a gite business too and wonder what region would be more popular for tourists. Any advice would be most welcomed! Thanks!
