Presentation on curcumin_Institut of Botanique (Montpellier)

For those who might be interested

Prof. Claus Schneider (Vanderbilt Univ. Med. School, Dept. Pharmacology, Nashville, USA) will give a 30 minutes talk on the biology of curcumin on Monday, 2nd June, at the Institut of Botanique (near the Botanical Garden, rue A. Boutonnet), Amphi Flahault. Free entrance.

Curcumin - often called as the "Indian solid gold" - plays an essential role in anti-inflammatory processes. It might help reduce some symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, and appears to be useful in the treatment of every type of cancer.

Those who wish to attend the talk and have some spare time, may visit before or after the conference the Museum of the Montpellier Medical School and/or the Botanical Garden, both situated close to the Institut of Botanique.

Enjoy. :-)

Cheers,

Palma
