UNDER-PRIVILEGED CHILDREN SPORTS CAMP INITIATIVE (Montréal)

Every child should have a chance to participate in active lifestyle, learn self-defense and anti-bullying skills, and develop leadership abilities. However, 1 in 3 Canadian families cannot afford to enroll their children in sports or recreations activities (Vision Critical Protected content . Moreover, current estimates show that more than 22.6% of Quebec children between aged 2 to 17 are overweight or obese. Obese children are at a higher lifetime risk for heart disease, stroke, asthma and some forms of cancer.

This charitable project is aimed at enabling children between Protected content old from low-income families to attend summer sports activities and develop healthy and active lifestyle. The charitable organization will provide official tax receipts to get a tax refund in the end of the year, plus, all kinds of freebies, such as free yoga class, free training sessions, free massages, certificates of recognition, etc. All proceeds will go directly for the kids registration, equipment, and foods.
