The Apericena is an Italian style after hours with drinks and finger food. It is a new name/fashion to describe an old Italian tradition. The activity is meant to be enjoyed with friends and socialize with new friends at the end of the week after the hard work. It is networking & making contacts in the most relaxed and casual way. It’s a cheap way to have dinner (often less than €10)! In Italian, the word “aperi-cena” is the combination of aperitif (=aperitivo) and dinner (=cena). Giuseppe and I have some contacts with Italians in Moscow to initiate such a new trend in catching up with friends and meeting new ones in a relaxed way.
