Best service at a bank I have ever seen (Moscow)

And the award goes to.... Sberbank.

I kid you not - if ever an organisation is working to reinvent itself, it's this one. Just picked up my card today from their VIP clients branch near Kropotkinskaya (yes, I know I'm not a VIP, but that's what they call the place). They could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Sberbank cannot claim much of an international presence - yet - but if you want to put your money somewhere that CANNOT go bust, put it here. The coffee was great, too.

Right - ad break over. I thought I would share this as we all spend most of our time complaining about service in Russia, so it is worth mentioning when they get it right, and get it right big time.
