Don your bikini, board shorts, wetsuit or national costume and join Australians and New Zealanders as they once again plunge into ice-cold water to raise much needed funds for the estimated 100,000 homeless living on the streets of Moscow. This year participants will have the chance to win a number of prizes, and there will also be a prize for the best costume!

All the money raised from the ‘Cold Plunge for the Homeless’ is managed and distributed by the International Women’s Club of Moscow (IWC).

When: 12.30pm – 1.30pm, Saturday, 28th of January, Protected content .

Where: The Polar Bear Club, Tamanskaya Street 9, Shore of Maloye, Bezdonnoye Lake, Serebryaniy bor For detailed directions, please visit the Polar Bear website ( Protected content ). Buses will also be available to shuttle participants between Metro Polezaevskaya and the Polar Bear Club and from the Polar Bear Club to the after party. This year the after party will be held at Strelka Protected content 5A, Bersenevskaya, Emb. Protected content from 3pm.

Who: Australians and New Zealanders living in Russia and any one else tough enough to take ‘the plunge’. The more the merrier, so please spread the word and invite others to attend this event - we hope to have Protected content !!

How: If you’re interested in participating, all you need to do is tell your employer, colleagues, friends and family that you are happy to take ‘the plunge’ if they will donate to your collection. Each participant must raise a minimum total of RUB2,000 to enter and the money will be collected by IWC and Auski members on the day of ‘the plunge’.
