Football in Moscow

Hi all,

The Young Spartans, a mixed team of Italian, Dutch, German etc expats, are looking for new players to join the team.

We are looking for keen, enthusiastic players aged 28 years or older to join
the squad for the coming season.

Matches will be played, in the Summer, on a lovely grass surface and players,
family and friends are treated to shashlik, salads, free beer or soft drinks
and a great family day out in the sun. In the winter, we play on a full size
indoor pitch at Lokomotive's stadium.

Games are 11-a-side, 45 mins each way but substitutes are allowed to come on
and go off (rotating) as fitness does become a bit of an issue for some of us
and are officiated by official Russian Federation referees.

Generally, the level is quite good so if you’ve played a bit of football and
miss both the playing and excellent social side, please email at
