Kazan (Moscow)

Hi everyone, I know this is the Moscow thread, but I cannot find one for Kazan. I am not sure how big the international community is here, I have just moved to Kazan. I am looking to make some friends in the area as I will be here fo up to 12months. If anyone has any info on Kazan, places to go, expat meetings etc, I would be so appreciative. I speak no Russian yet, so it is a bit isolating so far. I teach privately too, so am not out in the world too much to mingle. I will be in Moscow from time to time too, as I have friends there, and my school is based there. So tips on Moscow are also much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Sereca
