Medvedev making life easier for expats (Moscow)
Good news for all of us who qualify for the highly skilled visa regime. This is Medvedev's speech fresh off the press from yesterday, Succinct but definitely better than last month's announcement of Russian as a foreign language exams for immigrants.
“We should work on further simplifying the entry procedures for foreigners into our country, especially those specialists who come to us from other countries to work in fields requiring high qualification. It is obviously those who come to teach at universities, take part in research projects, those who are related to scientific, cultural and medical institutions. On all these directions we should move forward. We should make the foreigners’ life easier."
