Participants for a study (Moscow)
Our research group at the Department of Psychology of Higher School of Economics is looking for participants for a psycholinguistic experiment. We investige an interaction between foreign and native language words in the brain during language learning in a project supported by Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
We search for right-handed native English speakers between 18 and 40 years old who have just started learning Russian or are planning to do so. You will perform a computer test while we record your EEG (brain waves). In addition, we will ask you to make an MRI of your brain (for free). Both EEG and MRI are internationally approved innocuous procedures. The experiments take place at the Department of Psychology of HSE near Tekstilshchiki (Текстильщики) metro station. We will pay a compensation of Protected content per hour. The results of the experiment may potentially improve language learning techniques.
