recognition of foreign diploma in Russia (Moscow)

Hello,

I was wondering if someone has an experience with the recognition of foreign diploma in Russia.
I have diploma (unfortunately not from the universities listed as world best) and I am going to Russia. I am going there with my partner but I would like to search for a job. I found on Internet that I need to do paperwork at Rosobrnadzor - it takes Protected content and they still might not recognize the diploma. I have spoken with my Russian classmates who have the same foreign diploma and they were not asked to have "recognized diploma". The official translation was OK. But they are Russians.

Any ideas or experience?
