Dharavi visit (for charity) (Mumbai)

Dharavi, the largest slum in Asia has become especially well-known after the movie "Slumdog Millionaire"

The Indian Perspective is organising a Dharavi slum tour to raise funds for a school for Dharavi kids run by the NGO "The Art of Living".

This is probably the most comprehensive tour of the Dharavi area which includes all the following aspects of life in Dharavi:

a. The residential slums (small houses of the people living here)
b. The local market
c. Local temple and largest church in dharavi
d. A school (The school for which we are raising funds)
e. The small-scale industries such as leather, tailors, recycling
f. View of the locations where Slumdog Millionaire was shot

The visit fees are Rs Protected content person and the the entire amount will be donated to the school.

Since its an event totally for charity, I hope to see you'll in large numbers!!
Even if you've done a Dharavi visit before, I guarantee that you will see some parts of dharavi that you have never seen before!
