Foreign transaction (Mumbai)

Hi all,

I've been working in Mumbai since the beginning of October. I settle in smoothly and get more and more a picture how to live and organize yourself in such bustling city. Currently, my daily life take place in the are of Powai, but I'm look forward to exploring also other places in Mumbai.

My question: how do you transfer money to your home country on a regular basis (in particular my interests are: fees, currency of the transaction (INR or CHF), bank or intermediary, transaction to switzerland?
