Meditation is “Healthy to Learn. Easy to practice”. Contrary to popular belief, it is not at all about concentrating or not having thoughts. This 2 hour session will benefit complete beginners, as well as those who are attending other yoga classes. (This class will have techniques promoted by the Art of Living, whose founder HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has won several international awards for yoga)
Learn simple yoga, breathing and meditation techniques, which you could then also practice on your own at home every day. It is useful for office-going professionals as well as home-makers to learn these techniques that help to release stress and toxins easily and simply, even while sitting in a comfortable chair! Better physical + emotional health and deeper sleep + rest are some of the well-known effects.
Further, there will be an explanation of what is a Puja, how it is conducted, effects of chants and the symbolic meaning behind the entire process and offerings. A short Puja with Sanskrit chants will also be conducted as part of the session.
