Gandhi Museum (Mani bhavan) visit (Mumbai)

Dear expats,

here's your chance to visit the famous Mani bhavan recently visited by Obama and to understand Indian history!!

Mani Bhavan is a simple old-style, two storied building on Laburnum Road, Mumbai. Whenever Gandhiji was in Mumbai between Protected content 1934, he stayed here.It is now converted into a museum and research centre.

The visitors from all over the world come to Mani Bhavan, to see the Room that Gandhiji occupied, its Picture Gallery, the Library Hall and the Terrace where he was arrested on January 4, Protected content .

The visit will continue up to the August Kranti Maidan, the historic grounds where Gandhi launched the most important "Quit India" movement in Protected content .

The promenade also has several beautiful old style bungalows to be seen and some more information about Indian history prior to British rule will be shared.

The one and half hour long visit will take place on following dates:

Friday, 12th November - 9:45 to 11:15 am
Saturday & Sunday, Protected content - 10:30 am to 12 pm
Monday, 15th November Protected content to 11:30 am (in French)
