Mumbai 17 - A Dharavi Art Room Exhibition

Hi,

after the success of last year we thought it's time again to present to you the great art created by the kids of Dharavi within the Dharavi Art Room Project by Bombay Underground with the support of Reality Gives.

This year our aim is to dispel the negatives attitudes many people have towards Dharavi by showing those on the outside an intimate, first-person perspective on life inside of Dharavi. And who can give a better perspective of all the facets of this area than kids' eyes!

In one and a half years the kids have created a great collection of paintings, drawings and beautiful, optimistic photos that makes any observer speechless.

Come and celebrate with us this document of life in a given neighbourhood at a given time which will hopefully change the perception of slums in our society.
