Who needs snow? (Mumbai)

To me, the holidays aren't the holidays without snow! I have family from Michigan and we travel up there every year to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. I'm so used to singing carols and seeing the joy on everyones' faces around this time of year, so it is still weird for me to be in a city that doesn't see snow on Christmas.

What do Indians do when they go to a "colder" country around the holidays? Do you join in on the festivities, let your children play in the snow, and gather around a cackling fire? Or do you just treat it as any normal month of the year?
