World Environment Day: Versova beach cleaning (Mumbai)

Hi everyone! I just wanted to inform all of you about a local cause and also invite you to join the effort.

Since October '15, a group of residents from Versova (Versova Resident Volunteers) have been cleaning Versova Rock Beach in Andheri every Sunday.

This week is a bit special since it's World Environment Day on Sunday June 5. There will be beach cleaning on Thursday June Protected content from a French company, Pinod Ricard) between 6.30-8.30am, Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5 between 7am-7pm. Location is Versova Rock Beach, beach entrance near Beach Classic apartments.

A lot of people from all over Mumbai will be coming already, but with monsoon on the doorstep more and more plastic, cloth and other garbage washing ashore, we need all the help we can get.
