1000 people in P1 - fun or fundamentally stifling? (Munich)

I wouldn't mind going to the P1 event but was surprised to see that about Protected content also have the same idea.
Has anyone here been to such a packed P1 event and lived to tell the tale?
Can you dance or are you transported unwittingly by spontaneous surges of the masses?
