Weight Watchers is a world market leader with sales in over 30 countries that offers a range of products and services related to dieting, weight loss, and weight maintenance. Weight Watchers relies on a long-term lifestyle changes as a part of their weight management services and products. Weight Watchers recently made changes to a highly successful Points program, the decision was based on advancement in nutritional science. The change allowed Weight Watchers to acquire a better competitive edge over their competition and provided better growth opportunities in a weak economic climate. “There are promising approaches to successfully fight obesity”, says Christian Kleine, General Manager of Weight Watchers in Germany, “but we have to forge a strong alliance with all the relevant players: public and private”.

Our guest speaker this month is Christian Kleine, General Manager of Weight Watchers Germany. Mr. Kleine will be discussing Weight Watchers growth strategy in a tough economic and competitive environment.
